The Disco Biscuits Releasing Double Live Album

From discobiscuits.com…

The Disco Biscuits new Double Live album, The Wind at Four to Fly, will be released by Diamond Riggs Records through SCI FI on April 18th, 2006!!! This very special relationship will allow TDB to retain all of the creative control that comes with having your own label, but will at the same time place their new album into stores nationwide with the strength of a professional marketing team behind it.

Wow, very cool. And what’s cooler, they’re now on SCI Fidelity records with so many of the other great artists that I constantly write about. Here’s what they had to say about that…

We are overjoyed to team up with an amazing label that has the interest of the artists as their first priority, and the experience of working with bands in our genre behind them. We hope to work with SCI FI for many great years to come.

I’m definitely going to get a copy of this…

The Wind at Four to Fly is a compilation disc of some incredible tracks that have been culled from the final shows that the band performed with our original line-up. Though the track listing has been lock-boxed for some time now, we can tell you that the album includes a number of definitive versions of fan favorites, and is split into two discs, the first containing some very special stand alone songs and the second containing an all out trance fusion explosion.

  1. Was that back in 2002? That sounds right…

Yeah, they put on live albums that was a best-of from their 2002 holiday run and those are four discs that I always listen to.

This live disc is definitely something to look forward to…
