moe. just ended a three night stand in NYC over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, holding an intimate show at Stage 48 on Thursday, and then twp nights at the now named Playstation Theatre in Times Square on Friday and Saturday. Having not seen moe. since Summer Camp two years ago, I’m glad I was able to make it out and catch the Thursday and Friday shows as neither one disappointed.
Appropriate for opening night, fans were treated to wonderful versions of “Happy Hour Hero”, “New York City”, and the Neil Young and Crazy Horse tune, “Down by the River”. Friday notables included each set opener, “Yodelittle” and Zappa’s “Cosmik Debris”, with the final nod going to the second encore, “Mexico”. Obviously I can’t speak to Saturday, but my twitter feed seemed to be in love with the “Brent Back” and “Rebubula”.
