Just a quick post today before I wrap up the week…
I caught some good news over at Pitchfork the other day on one of my favorite bands, Tortoise. I got to see them for the first time a couple months ago at the Empty Bottle. I really enjoyed the set, even if it wasn’t the most amazing show in the world given their lack of any real stage presence that night.
I’m actually not sure if that’s a common occurence at Tortoise shows in the past, so I’m sure others can’t speak to that a little better. All in all, though — I enjoyed seeing these guys live and me and my iPod really love their signature indie-Tron-flavored sound.
Catch them on the road and at Bonnaroo 2007 this summer…
