Not that I’m a huge fan of Pearl Jam or anything, but I’ve always respected their model. They do whatever they want to do now, and they seem to have done a good job of keeping their loyal fan base very happy with that model. I’ve always respected that…
Now, this is something I respect as well. If you’re going to donate money somewhere, you might want to hold off and shell out $1,000 for the upcoming, October 5 benefit show to be held at the Chicago House of Blues. All net proceeds from this Hurricane Katrina benefit are going to the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and the Jazz Foundation of America. This is very, cool indeed and a great take on the benefit concert itself.
If anyone attends, we’d REALLY love a review of this show. This is bound to be a special night in Chicago for any giving, caring Pearl Jam fan…
