Not that I’m a huge fan of Pearl Jam or anything, but I’ve always respected their model. They do whatever they want to do now, and they seem to have done a good job of keeping their loyal fan base very happy with that model. I’ve always respected that…

Now, this is something I respect as well. If you’re going to donate money somewhere, you might want to hold off and shell out $1,000 for the upcoming, October 5 benefit show to be held at the Chicago . All net proceeds from this Hurricane Katrina benefit are going to the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and the Jazz Foundation of America. This is very, cool indeed and a great take on the benefit concert itself.

If anyone attends, we’d REALLY love a review of this show. This is bound to be a special night in Chicago for any giving, caring Pearl Jam fan…
