NEW ISH: Sinkane – “How We Be” + “Hold Tight”

Sinkane is releasing a new album called Mean Love on September 2nd, and today he posted the new single called “How We Be” over at SoundCloud. Featuring the sound that only he, Ahmed Gallab being his real name, can suddenly call his own, this track has some fantastic juxtapositions between 8-bit style electronica and his soulful island-ready vocals and melodies. Very much something that could have worked on the Mars release from a few years back, something I easily wore out listening to via my numerous Spotify playlists.

I missed the first track that was released, “Hold Tight”, so sample that one below as well.

So. good.
