Today, Green Day announced that they have cancelled their scheduled performance at this year’s Voodoo Music + Arts Experience on October 27, 2012. Billie Joe Armstrong checked himself into rehab after a much-publicized wig out at the iHeart Radio Festival.

“Canceling shows is something we rarely do,” said Tré Cool. “We never want to let our fans down, and we are grateful for all of you being understanding during this time.”
Now the big question is: Who will/should take Green Day’s place?
