Don’t forget about the Warren Haynes X-Mas Jam tonight in Asheville, NC.

Rolling Stone has redesigned their main page (I just noticed this the other day–I’m not sure if they did this a while ago or not…). I think it looks pretty good, albeit strikingly similar to Billboard.com’s recent redesign. Oh, and they have podcasts now.

Popmatters reviews Vegoose.

Rush is re-releasing my favorite disc , Exit…Stage Left, as a DVD. It was originally a VHS release along with the album, but it should be cool to see how this pans out as a DVD. I hope they release it separate as opposed to an old-skool Rush boxset. I don’t need that much Rush…

  1. I read that Vegoose review. I don’t know which Vegoose festival this guy went to, but the one that I attended was about 6 miles from the UNLV campus and the only connection was Vegoose was held at the Football stadium and you passed UNLV on the drive there from the airport.

It’s hard for me to critic this article without sounding like I’m ripping on the guy for being a “jam” outsider. The hip hop tent he mentions for Atmosphere was not VIP, I got in fine, unless they changed it for Atmosphere’s act.

I dunno, it just seems like this guy had no clue what he was doing at Vegoose…. just my opinion of course.. :)
