Friday Links

The Tweeter Center in Chicago, easily one of the worst venues I’ve ever attended, is now First Midwest Bank Ampitheater.
Honestly, who cares. Don’t go to this venue.

Chris K. has some great photos posted of Robert Lockwood, Jr.
“He may be turning 91 this month, but Robert Lockwood Jr. still keeps on playing a free show every week at Fat Fish Blue in Cleveland, OH. Truly an honor to see such a blues legend play, and I’m sure I’ll be back very soon to see him again!”

That’s all for now, folks. I’ve been cooped up inside for most of the week so I need to get out and run some errands. OPEN THREAD. I should have some more later today, including my expectable fodder on the Scott Stapp / Kid Rock noise you’re hearing and the normal link coverage for the weekend. I’m gearing up for the year ahead and it’s definitely something I hope ya’ll are doing, too…

Good shows this weekend? New album you just picked up? Good links you’ve found? Drop ’em off…
