Download: Phish – Light 2009

jiggslot.blogspot.com

I’m in the midst of downloading all 10 discs of Jigg’s latest compilation, Light 2009. The mix selection looks tight.

I am very happy to announce the arrival of Light 2009, a comprehensive compilation spanning all of 2009. Totaling 10 disks in all, each disk was painstakingly mixed as if it were an entire set, with crowd noise completing the illusion. Those of you who enjoyed ChickenCrab’s Destroys America will find this a must-download.

This is exactly what I need in the month leading up to ’s tour opener in Chicago. It can’t come soon enough.

  1. I want to give credit where it is due. The mix was conceived and created by ChickenCrab, not yours truly. I wanted to provide a conduit so that a wider audience could hear this, so I put it on the Jiggs Lot blog.

    Thanks to everyone for visiting!

    • Ah thanks, Jiggs…I didn’t catch that and thought you were just “inspired” to make your own set of mixes. ;)

Thanks again for the link, though. I needed a distilled version.

  3. Hell yes! Just what I need to prep for my first show in a decade. I’m actually in the middle of Destroys right now, and was thinking that comparing ’97 to Ph3.0 might be setting the bar a bit high. Thanks Justin.

  5. This is awesome, and tons of thanks for all the hard work that went into it. This will replace all Phish on my iPhone for awhile.

One word of caution to downloaders and importers… Doesn’t seem like all the mp3’s are tagged properly or named consistently, so if you import into iTunes or whatever en masse, you might have a mess on your hands organizing them in order. My tip is to import them disk by disk to keep everything straight.

  7. Glad you like it guys!

Nicholas, I had all the tracks meticulously tagged in iTunes before uploading them. Not sure why they would lose that info, but I guess they did somehow.
