Comes a Time: Tribute to Jerry

According to Phantasy Tour:

It now appears that the rumored Jerry Garcia tribute performance will take place on September 24. Comes A Time – A Musical Tribute to Jerry Garcia has been announced as a Rex Foundation Benefit slated to take place at the Greek Theater in Berkeley.

The initial round of artist announcements as currently reported includes: Trey Anastasio, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Warren Haynes, Bruce Hornsby, Peter Rowan, Melvin Seals, Patti Smith and Michael Kang with additional details yet to follow.

Tickets go onsale August 14th.

General Admission tickets are $50. Also available are special reserved and front-of-pit seats for $100 and $250, where all but $50 are charitable contributions.   1. Apparentl Phil’s moving his son into a dorm that weekend – his spirit will almost be as strong as if he was there personally (minus the LESH BOMBS).

    As for the show, they should do something like this for Jerry every weekend of the year, througout the US, for as long as we live.

    And even that wouldn’t be enough to thank Jerry for for all he’s meant to us.
