Broken Social Scene, that crazy Canadian collective of indie-pop-rock phenoms, is going out on tour this fall and they’re focusing their efforts on the East coast and Midwest.
I’m actually kicking myself slightly right now. I essentially skipped their Sunday set at Lollapalooza to get a good night’s rest — regrettable in hindsight — as I heard that their sound doesn’t really translate well live, especially on a huge stage with 50,000 people in attendance. Oh well, you can’t win ’em all…
Go catch them on tour before they threaten another breakup…
