Chris Guest Managing Editor Our Managing Editor, Chris Guest, has loved music for as long as he can remember. Whether it was his mother singing his name to the tune of The Beach Boys’ “Surfer Girl” as a baby, or hearing The Hollies’ “Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress” for the first time (about the first pop song he can remember truly loving), or listening to his dad play delicate fingerstyle guitar tracks by Ralph McTell as he grew up, Chris has long been immersed in and consumed by the potent power of music. Chris has been in a band or two in his time as a guitarist and lead vocalist, but now he plies his trade overseeing the entire editorial direction on Live Music Blog while making time to cover artists and musical topics that tickle his fancy. He has written about music extensively for Audiophix and has covered other topics for The Gamer, FanSided, EDHREC, Destructoid and The Beer Connoisseur.
