2006 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Announced

The new class of Hall of Fame inductees has been announced, and before you go saying, “Hey, I thought Miles Davis was jazz,” I’m going to say it for you.

Wasn’t Miles Davis jazz? (okay, I’m just messing. I can’t speak intelligently on the music of Miles Davis–Flame away in the comments if you must)

Here’s the list of artists being inducted, and I can’t wait to see the Sex Pistols reunite for no good reason and then breakup again. I’m pretty sure they’ve already done that once or twice, so this really won’t be anything new.

Black Sabbath
Blondie
Sex Pistols
Miles Davis
Lynyrd Skynyrd

  1. Live Evil is such a conversation piece nowadays. I wonder if that has anything to do with the recent JazzTimes article. It was a cool album, though.
