Sometimes I wish I could be a fly on the wall at creative meeting where Diplo calls his team together. Someone just bursts out and says something like, “Look, people are going to watch this on the internet, and there’s no way that anyone that likes Major Lazer wouldn’t want to watch insanely hot girls smoking blunts while rave lights flash on the screen. Hashtag, no brainer.” The entire room bursts out in applause. Executives toss money in the air. Diplo tweets something. Everyone is happy and a music video gets made for the latest single of your latest record. You hop on a jet and fly somewhere exotic while girls #twerk at you.

Okay in all seriousness, I’m sure it’s a lot less sexy than that. But the latest video from Major Lazer, “Jet Blue Jet,” is pretty sexy and hyphy.
