Last Saturday afternoon, at a ranch in Topanga Canyon tucked just outside of LA, Taylor Hawkins’ now twelve year old Stones tribute project Chevy Metal played a mostly Stones cover set (that also included a Faces’ “Stay With Me” to close) at an invite-only event hosted by Levi’s and a high-quality recording from this special set featuring fellow Foo Fighters compadre Dave Grohl have surfaced via faketaper’s YouTube channel.
