On Sunday, Nine Inch Nails released a 74-minute documentary from the 1994-96 Self Destruct Tour on their tumblr page. Dig in below for over an hour of never before seen concert and backstage foorage, macabre-laden weirdness and general disturbia, portions of which are NSFW.
The videos strategically arrive as Reznor prepares to revive Nine Inch Nails with an almost entirely new lineup including former Jane’s Addiction bassist Eric Avery, King Crimson guitarist Adrian Belew, keyboardists Alessandro Cortini and Josh Eustis and drummer Ilan Rubin. The band is set to hit the road this summer, with a U.S. arena tour to follow in the fall and then worldwide dates through 2014. In other news, I’ll be selling one of my lesser appendages (if necessary) to assure attendance at one of these dates.
Additionally, Reznor will be performing at Coachella 2013 with his other project How To Destroy Angels.
