In what is perhaps the single most intriguing bill on the LA fall calendar, two of the most sonically ambidextrous and unpredictably innovative forces in music today will share the legendary Hollywood Bowl stage on September 23rd. Two LMB favorites, Baltimore’s Animal Collective and LA’s own Flying Lotus, will be joined by Huun Huur Tu, a throat-singing group haling from Siberia. It’s an exciting time for fans of both headlining acts, with Centipede Hz, Animal Collective’s long-anticipated follow-up to their watershed 2009 LP Merriweather Post Pavilion just hitting shelves and Flying Lotus touring in support of his forthcoming record Until The Quiet Comes (Out 10/2/12 on Warp Records).
