According to a press release from Smithfield’s team, their upcoming album Country With Heart, Part 2 is set to arrive September 11.
As for the new single, “Drunk Love You” is a soaring, harmony-driven Country ballad – a song that blurs the line between intoxication and true love, revealing that the strongest feeling isn’t found in a bottle, it’s the one that remains long after the buzz wears off.
Penned by Jennifer Fielder, Trey Smith, and Adam Wood, and produced by Trey Smith, “Drunk Love You” cleverly reimagines the classic Country drinking song through a deeply romantic lens. Building from intimate verses into an anthemic chorus, the track reveals that what first feels like “drunk love” is, in fact, something much deeper, and impossible to shake.

The release marks the latest preview of Smithfield’s upcoming album, Country With Heart, Part 2. Announced earlier this week, the eight-song collection completes the story the duo began with Country With Heart, Part 1, celebrating the love, faith, family, friendship and resilience that have shaped Jennifer Fielder and Trey Smith throughout their 14-year journey together.
