Bob Weir and Wolf Bros made a somewhat unannounced appearance last night at the D’Angelico Guitars booth at the NAMM show in Los Angeles, and while we thought a webcast was definitely going down, that turned out to be fake news and sadly none of us at home got to watch it live as it went down.
But some of the lucky industry veterans were in the room and got to see it happen, like our friend Paul Citone who grabbed some quick photos for us that we posted on Instagram and also Michael Weintrob (who snapped this photo of the trio on stage).

Bob Weir and Wolf Bros grooved out to LA and played a private industry #namm2019 show Thursday, 1.24.19. Our friend @paulcitone grabbed these shots and kicked them our way! 👏🏻🐺👬. . . . . . . . . . #bobweir #bobweirandwolfbros #namm #namm2019 #gratefuldead #donwas #jaylane #deadfreaksunite #losangeles #music #industry
And it turned into more than a simple trio as Wally Ingram joined them for the second half of the set they played.
Here’s the setlist that the bros laid down last night:
