The Slip played at McCarren Pool in New York City this past Sunday as part of JellyNYC’s Pool Parties series.

Stereogum likes The Slip. So does Jim James (My Morning Jacket). I’m started to get into them a little more myself.

“They played a tight 45 min set, opening with “Even Rats” and closing with “Children of December”. A bunch of kids braved the 90+ degree heat up front while a couple thousand chilled around the shady perimeter to the pool, or played dodge ball or enjoyed the inflatable slip and slide. Quite a scene and good times for all. Rock out.” – Joe
