Gov’t Mule rolled into The House of Blues in Las Vegas like a Mack Truck on November 1st the night after their amazing Halloween set at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA. Warren and the band seemed to be in good spirits as they blasted through “World Boss”, the opening track to their latest release Shout!. The first set was littered with amazing tunes like “Which Way Do We Run” and an 11-minute set closer of “Time to Confess”. After a quick break the boys jumped right in and treated us to an amazing second set…“Forevermore > Painted Silver Light” was the opener and set the momentum for the rest of the night. Matt Abts and Jorgen Carlsson kept it rolling with a very up-tempo “Funny Little Tragedy”. The show ended with “Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody’s Home” with Chris Tofield & Brian Triola, from our very own Las Vegas based jamband Moksha, on keyboards and guitar. Great show… Great venue. Thank you to Warren and the boys for jammin’. Check out the setlist below and my gallery from the show.
