After a soggy Thursday and Friday, Saturday marked a long overdue clearing of the skies and (slight) drying of muddy conditions that persisted at the track on days four and five (not dissimilar from what you saw yesterday at the Kentucky Derby, Go Orb Go!). Our man Jim Brock was able to capture some of the action at sets by Frank Ocean, Phoenix, George Duke + Stanley Clarke, Norah Jones with the Little Willies, Preservation Hall Jazz Band in Economy Hall, David Shaw of the Revivalists with Galactic, Corey Henry and daughter putting the brass to it, The Meters rhythm section playing jazz with David Torkanowksy and Eric Lindell in the Blues Tent.
