Funk masters Galactic brought the heat to the Wilma a few weeks back on a cold Thursday night. The New Orleans based band turned Missoula into a Dirty South funk party, if only for one night. Having sold out the Top Hat lounge in the summer one year prior, the band filled in the Wilma well. With an always impressive performance, Galactic had the crowd rocking out to the sounds of New Orleans all night long. Local Missoula band Erroneous Thunk kicked things off with impressive technicality and crowd moving progressions, followed by San Francisco based up and comers Con Brio who eased the crowd into a night of funk.
