Kudos to the team at For who just announced this weekend’s Justice Comes Alive, a “virtual festival harnessing the power of music to bring about collective change in response to racial inequality.”

They’re partnering with PLUS1 and for the event this Sunday, June 28th and will be raising money for the artists, social causes including the PLUS1 For Black Lives Fund as well as voter nonprofit . All for a good cause and a great way to get a ton of artists together…

The all-day marathon will feature new live performances from 50+ artists captured during the ongoing lockdown specifically for Comes Alive. The new content will be created by the artists in a variety of ways, from socially distant studio sessions to remote video collaborations to crowdless sets at around the country. Performers include , ’s Funky Nation, (John , John , , & ), and the Terrapin , , Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Christone “KINGFISH” Ingram, , , , , The Rebels, , TAUK, , , and many more.

There will be some emcees onboard leading conversations in between the music.

In between performances, Comes Alive co-hosts (), (), James Casey (), and Robert Sput Searight (-Note), alongside Ari Fink of XM, will lead conversations with respected musicians about how we can heed the call of the moment to address and eliminate racial inequality on both a personal and a societal level. Featured speakers include , , , , , Porter , , and more.
