Live from SXSW 2007: Peaches

I’ve only got a minute or two for a quick blog post before I had back out into the city-wide musical celebration known as SXSW 2007. I’m headed off to the Spin party to meet a contact from Live Nation (hopefully), then onto the Pitchfork party, then hopefully onto the screening of Electric Apricot: Quest for Festeroo. Fun day ahead.

I caught about ten minutes of an interview with Peaches yesterday and I laughed the entire time. Just in case anyone’s curious, she does not preferred circumcised men vs. uncircumcised men. She believes that everyone should be proud of who they are, sans-tip or not.

I think those are clear words of inspiration from the visionary who recently released the album, Impeach My Bush. Seriously — words to live by.
