This past Saturday, the New Orleans powerhouse quartet Dragon Smoke, featuring Eric Lindell, Ivan Neville, Stanton Moore and Robert Mercurio wrapped up their most recent US jaunt with their annual December throw down to a packed house at Tipitina’s.
New Orleans photographer Austin Briggs (Able Photography) was onsite to capture a few shots from the show for us as the group moved through a set of Dragon Smoke tunes with a few tasty covers sprinkled in, including a rousing rendition of Aaron Neville‘s “Hercules” early on in the set and a fantastic rendition of Bobby Womack‘s take on the Jimmy Cox classic “Nobody Wants You When You’re Down and Out.”
