Tame Impala was the musical guest on tonight’s Saturday Night Live with host Sandra Oh. The band played their new single “Patience” which you can see below.
The band’s first single in a few years is a sexy, funky affair, and the version the band delivered on the show was perfectly in tune with that. Parker hung out front sans guitar for a bit and shook some maracas, then finally strapped on a guitar and let the funk ride out at the end.

Following the track everyone had heard before, the band debuted a new one called “Borderline.” And holy wow this is spectacular.
