Tycho has announced a New Year’s Eve run at the Fillmore in San Francisco to ring in the 2018 calendar year with an amazing Anthology theme that will run through his catalog so far.
For the first night, he’ll play songs off the first two full lengths he put out, with New Year’s Eve set for the last two albums plus a full DJ set from the man himself to close out the night. Check out the complete details below.
I’m excited to announce that we’ll be playing two special shows right here at home in San Francisco on December 30th and 31st at one of my favorite venues in the world, The Fillmore. We kicked off the Awake tours with our first show at The Fillmore so it only seemed right to end the Epoch era in the same place, and on New Year’s Eve.
Here’s how the two nights will be structured:
December 30: The original 3-piece touring band (Zac Brown, Rory O’Connor and myself) will play songs from Past is Prologue and Dive with our good friend and collaborator (and cousin to Zac) Dusty Brown opening up the show.
December 31: The current 4-piece touring band (Rory O’Connor, Zac Brown, Billy Kim and myself) will play songs from Awake and Epoch with Rory opening the show as Nitemoves. I’ll be closing out the night with a DJ set, my first proper set in the city since February 2016.
This sounds amazing. I’d love to get a chance to see full run-throughs of all of the music he’s put out so far, so this sounds like a pretty solid way to see at least most of it live once.
