I’ve had a huge appreciation for Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings from the first time I saw them at Outside Lands in 2008, and the appreciation only grew fonder when she supported Phish for their Exile on Main Street set at Festival 8. Her latest release, I Learned The Hard Way, will be the backbone for her upcoming tour and festival appearances throughout the year. I hope to get to see her this year again because she’s officially a force to be reckoned with. I’ll at least be TiVo’ing her upcoming late-night TV appearances:
