Make sure you’re up to date on the new “Busiest Man in the Jamband Scene” and perennial favorite around these parts: Marco Benevento. Tonight he’s playing in Cambridge, MA and while the show is sold out already, you’re in luck if you didn’t get tickets already. ConcertWindow.com looks to be hosting a $3 webcast tonight which seems pretty cool, but I’ve never heard of this site until right now so no clue on whether or not it’s a legit online experience. And make sure you don’t skip over his dates with Garage a Trois and Bustle in your Hedgerow, though — the man mixes up his projects and dates and consistently keeps fans on their toes about what to expect from his contribution on stage. As an artist he does some of the best work ever of staying eclectic and well, just different with the music he chooses to play. No matter how many times I’ve seen him, his performances leave me stunned and often feeling a bit more connected to the true joy of music and being a fan.
Can’t wait for another year of catching this dude on the road…
