The Oatmeal has been my favorite web comic for a long time now, but I’m just now catching up and seeing he did a comic a year or so ago on the sad, confusing state of the music industry. Shown through the lens of the consumer, the performer, and the label who served as the gatekeeper for many, many years, it’s a pretty spot-on representation of what we’re going through.
The “where it needs to go from here” is a reality for some people nowadays, and we only hope that the trend continues in that right direction.
