Disco surf-rockers The B-52’s have officially been out there making music for 40 years now, and not to let any good opportunity for celebration and honoring their long legacy get away, the group has announced a set of 40th Anniversary Tour Dates for 2019.
See below for the full list and itinerary which will kick off on May 4th in West Palm Beach, Floria for Sunset. The band will also be making appearances at KAABOO Texas and Sea.Hear.Now music festivals.
Continuing the festivities, Da Capo Press/Hachette Books has announced plans to publish the first-ever official history of the band in 2020.
The group will also be tapping Saturday Night Live and Portlandia alum Fred Armisen as Executive Producer and Director Craig Johnson to develop an authorized documentary film of the group.
