Superhuman Happiness just released their first new song in almost two years, “Catch A Break.” It’s available on YouTube, iTunes and streaming on Spotify.
We haven’t heard much from Superhuman Happiness as Stuart Bogie’s been touring with Arcade Fire on their Reflektor tour. The song features vocals from Andrea Diaz and was likely the track that the band hinted at in a tweet from earlier this year. Let’s hope there’s a cross-country tour and even more new material on the horizon as hinted at in the officially updated bio below:
The song was composed by Bogie and long time collaborator Eric Biondo at their studio overlooking a dump in north Brooklyn. The song addresses city life, and living on the hamster wheel of ambition and survival. “Catch a Break” was produced by Royal Potato Family label mate Sam Cohen and mixed by Chris Tabron. The single is the first in a series of releases revealing their new discoveries in sound and poetry.
