Just announced! The Strokes were supposed to be headliners at this year’s Governors Ball Music Festival, but the weather had some other plans and the set was cancelled. A LOT of fans traveled for that, bought tickets assuming they’d see a full set, etc. Bummer.
This announcement makes good on that — The Strokes will be doing New Year’s Eve at the Barclay’s Center. Both the venue and the band just confirmed.
Tickets will be on sale here this Friday.
