You know, ever since we started the Song of the Day on the Live Music Blog, Justin and I have been trying to pick songs and bands that readers might not listen to all that regularly. So the legendary acts like the Dead and Phish are left out of the mix, because I’m assuming most of you have more discs than you have room for them.
But today I’m feeling very Phishy (perhaps it has something to do with Tuesday night’s “Halfway There” debut), so I’ve been searching the free “stash” portion of nugs.net for some of my favorite versions of what they have stored there.
So even though you might have these tracks at home, or you may at least have heard these before, I offer you these gems (mostly wicked covers) while you sit at your desk and await the 5 o’clock whistle.
