My Morning Jacket wrapped up one helluva 3-night run tonight at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, capping off the stay on Western and Wilshire with a huge exclamation point. Tonight’s festivities got off-the-ground considerably faster than the previous two nights, right from the get-go with “At Dawn” and “The Dark.” I questioned if there was enough in the tank to rival Tuesday’s standout show but couldn’t have been any more off-base with such a sentiment. Expectations once again demolished, these guys are right back in the rarefied air that turned so many heads between Z and Evil Urges. Capping off the run with “All Night Long,” “Move On Up” and “One Big Holiday” iced the cake on a downright epic set of shows that will surely stack up right at or near the top once the Spontaneous Curation Series Tour is all said and done.
