The rumors were indeed true; Goldenvoice announced that Coachella was getting in on the Jam Cruise / Holy Ship sorta idea and launching their own cruising festival. S.S. Coachella was made official earlier today in most major news sources, and the artwork and lineup details are now live over at ss.coachella.com.
There will be two journeys of the new sHipster music festival; the first will hit the Bahamas on from December 16-19 and the second journey heads to Jamaica on December 19-23. The full lineup looks pretty incredible, too, and with no curfew there will be tons of late night action for all to be had. Plus the thought of seeing the ladies in Warpaint in their swimsuits is too exciting to miss…
