The Rolling Stones are currently on stage at FedExField in the Washington, D.C. area and busted out a long forgotten hit they used to play forever and ever back in the 60’s – a cover from Don Covay & The Goodtimers called “Mercy Mercy”.
According to setlist.fm, “Mercy Mercy” hasn’t made an appearance live since the band’s appearance at Hyde Park on July 5, 1969. But tonight in D.C. it showed up early in the show and this was a big one.
We just watched The Rolling Stones play a song they haven’t done live since July 5th 1969
