Today, the effects of the post-tropical freak storm Sandy are being felt far beyond the East coast. According to ABC News Net 5, in Cleveland, OH, at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, wind and water damage is being reported ate the museum. Fox 8 Cleveland adds that the museum lost parts of its siding on the upper-level of the building.
Folks in most areas needing emergency assistance can dial United Way’s 2-1-1 help line. Also, our thoughts are with those on the East Coast and we wish everyone dealing with the storm safety and a quick return to normalcy once it has passed.
Although there is minor flooding being reported, luckily it seems the Hall of Fame has evaded significant flooding for the time being, despite Lake Erie coming dangerously close to topping flood walls.
Update via Consequence of Sound: The Hall of Fame opened today at 11 am local time.
