Electronic music fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Derek Vincent Smith, otherwise known as Pretty Lights, one of the more prolific and game-changing producers out there and one who’s been relatively silent for the past few years.
Today that changed with a new post on his Facebook page declaring that “BlackLivesMatter” with an iPhone note coming right from his heart. He said “it is clearly time to start participating again” and he says unequivocally he stands in complete solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
