The 29th Annual French Quarter Fest once again reigned over the downtown area this past weekend, attracting masses of live music fans from near-and-far to the largest free music festival in the South for over 275 hours of locally-based music on over 20 stages. Photographer Jimmy Grotting was able to capture a big chunk of the action including sets by Astral Project, Theresa Andersson, Gal Holiday and the Honky Tonk Revue, Honey Island Swamp Band, Treme Brass Band, The Ramblin’ Letters and more.
