Tonight at the final sets of the Wide Open Bluegrass music festival in Raleigh, North Carolina, Phish drummer Jon Fishman donned a suit (!) and sat in with the picking legends of Del McCoury Band for a huge retrospective of Del’s grand career. The set also featured sit-ins from Dierks Bentley, Sam Bush, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
Scroll down to see a ton of videos from the set.
Based on what we’re seeing posted it looks like “Beauty of My Dreams” and “Nashville Cats” featured Jon Fishman on drums and a bigger ensemble for a U2 cover of “Pride (In The Name of Love)”.
