Marcus King is out today with a brand new song called “One Day She’s Here,” featuring writing by King, Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys and Nashville songwriter Pat McLaughlin. The single was recorded with drummer Gene Chrisman, keyboardist Bobby Wood and bassist Dave Roe, “legendary musicians who have graced classic recordings by the likes of Johnny Cash, Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley.”
The track will be on his new solo record, El Dorado, produced by Dan Auerbach at Easy Eye Sound in Nashville, set for release on Jan 17, 2020 via Snakefarm Records out of the UK. It will also include “The Well,” which was previously debuted.
