The full slate is out and things kick off on Thursday with a high noon lunchtime set by Glen David Andrews and the series runs until the evening of Monday, May 7th after the Fest. Be sure to make a point in your Jazz Fest escapades to head down to Decatur and pile into the Louisiana Music Factory on one of the days off from the Fairgrounds (and be sure to pick up some rare vinyl of your favorite local artists while you’re there). I’m personally eyeing the Wednesday afternoon with Lost Bayou Ramblers and Anders Osborne as a good way to ease into 2nd weekend and see both artists premiere songs from their respective new LP’s Mammoth Waltz (LBR) and Black Eye Galaxy (AO). See the full slate above and enjoy performances from last year by Garage A Trois and Luther Dickinson below.
