George Porter Jr. and the Runnin’ Pardners have been a part of the ongoing Tedeschi Trucks Band tour and it should come as no surprise that a few Meters tunes have found their way into the TTB setlists, including the debut of “Ain’t No Use” (originally released on The Meters’ 5th LP Rejuvenation in 1974) on Wednesday night at the Keswick Theatre in PA with the Meter Man himself. George Porter Jr. has sat in on a number of nights throughout the run and you can see vid of GP Jr. rehearsing with TTB below. Also, the entire 11/28/12 show can be downloaded here. Props to our friends at Funk It for getting this up on Soundcloud.
