The lineup for the annual Life is Good festival dropped today! Set on Prowse Farm in Canton, MA on the weekend of September 22-23, 2012, the annual fundraiser for their nonprofit arm helping kids overcome poverty is welcoming another year of top tier talent. Topping this year’s lineup on Saturday is Michael Franti & Spearhead, Sara Bareilles, and Soulive which will be followed up on Sunday with Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave., and Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds (among many other acts already announced). A ticket for this fest seems like a “good” thing to do, indeed:
The goal of the weekend is to create a community of fundraisers. Festival-goers who raise funds for the Life is good Playmakers will be rewarded with exclusive backstage hospitality, preferred concert viewing, artist meet and greets and other prizes. These fundraisers are called VGP’s – Very Good People – and have a once-in-a-lifetime concert experience, as well as the satisfaction that comes naturally by simply being a very good person.
