Jim James is still taking full advantage of a relatively quiet year for My Morning Jacket (save for that Americanarama tour) by continuing on with his solo project in support of Regions of Light and Sound of God. Just a month or so ahead of the time My Morning Jacket is supposed to carve out some time for the studio, Jim will do a few more dates in the Midwest ahead of performance at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. Stops are scheduled for St. Louis, Madison, Omaha, Lawrence, and Tulsa before finishing off in Telluride. Next up for Jim – a set at this weekend’s Newport Folk Festival.
