The cast includes Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Jack White, Guns N’ Roses (?!!??), the Flaming Lips, Sarah McLachlan, Foster the People, Lucinda Williams, Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, k.d. lang and the one of the biggest stars in the music world today: Gary Clark Jr.
The shows will take place Oct. 20-21 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.
Tickets, priced from $35-$150, go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 through Live Nation’s website, by calling (800) 745-3000 and at the Shoreline Amphitheatre box office.
Yet another impressive lineup (with G-n-R being quite a wild card) for what has become one of the Bay Area’s most highly anticipated annual shows. Past performers have included Phish, R.E.M., Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Paul McCartney, Tony Bennett, Metallica and the Who.
The shows benefit Hillsborough’s Bridge School, an organization dedicated to the communicative and educational development of children with severe speech and physical impairments.
