The 17th Annual High Sierra Music Festival has announced its initial artist line-up. The Quincy, CA festival runs from Thursday, July 5th through Sunday, July 8th, 2007, and so far, includes the following artists:

As is usually the case, High Sierra’s line-up has a definitive West Coast vibe along with, in my opinion, a solid streak of bluegrass and jam-friendly bands. High Sierra does not appear to have much interest in going for the Indie Rock crowd, as we’ve seen some other festivals do in recent years. Looks pretty solid to me.
